Jesus was a Israelite and a Hebrew NOT a Jew. Where was Jesus born? In Bethlehem in Judea. Where did Jesus grow up? In Nazareth in Galilee. Jesus was then an Israelite and Judahite by birth. His lineage was Hebrew and a Galilean and Nazarene by residence. After Jesus came from the wilderness to begin his public ministry, Jesus called himself neither an Israelite, Hebrew, Judahite, Galilean, nor a Nazarene. Jesus identified Himself as the Son of God. Jesus used many metaphors for this: The Bread of Life, The Word Made Flesh (The Logos), The Light, The Son of God, The Lamb of God, The Good Shepherd, The Only Begotten Son, and others.
During Jesus' lifetime, no persons were described as "Jews" anywhere. That fact is supported by theology, history and science. When Jesus was in Judea, it was not the "homeland" of the ancestors of those who today style themselves "Jews". Their ancestors never set a foot in Judea. They existed at that time in Asia, their "homeland", and were known as Khazars. In none of the manuscripts of the original Old or New Testament was Jesus described or referred to as a "Jew". The term originated in the late eighteenth century as an abbreviation of the term Judean and refers to a resident of Judea without regard to race or religion, just as the term "Texan" signifies a person living in Texas.
In spite of the powerful propaganda effort of the so-called "Jews", they have been unable to prove in recorded history that there is one record, prior to that period, of a race religion or nationality, referred to as "Jew". The religious sect in Judea, in the time of Jesus, to which self-styled "Jews" today refer to as "Jews", were known as "Pharisees". "Judaism" today and "Pharisaism" in the time of Jesus are the same.

Why was this?
Psalm 83:3 says God's elect are "hidden" or protected ones, and that they are under attack from a coalition of evil groups led by Edom. Who was Edom?
Esau, the brother of the patriarch Jacob, became the ancestor of the people called Edom, or Idumea. The Antiquities of the Jews by Flavius Josephus, XIII ix 1; XV vii 9 instructs us: John Hyrcanus forcibly assimilated the Edomites as a national group and they became "Jews" in about 120BC. The Jewish historian Josephus, who lived just after the time of Christ, wrote, "They [Edom] were hereafter no other than Jews'. The Jewish scholar Cecil Roth in his Concise Jewish Encyclopedia (1980) says on page 154, "John Hyrcanus forcibly converted [Edom] to Judaism. From then on they were part of the Jewish people. In the Talmud the name of Edom was applied to Christian Rome, and was then used for Christianity in general".
Terrible judgements against Edom are made in most of the prophecies of the Old Testament. For instance, Isaiah 34, 63, Jeremiah 49, and the entire book of Obadiah.
Isaiah 63:1-6, "Who is this coming from Edom . . . in garments stained with crimson? It is I [the Lord] who speak in righteousness and am mighty to save."
"Why are your garments red, as if you had trodden the winepress?"
"I have trodden the winepress alone: and of the people there was none to help Me. In My anger I trod them down, trampled them in My wrath. Their blood splattered My garments, and all My clothes are stained. For the day of vengeance is in My heart, and the year of My redeemed has come. . . I will tread down the people in My anger, and bring their blood upon the ground".
These verses refer to Revelations chapter 19:11-21, when the Word of God destroys His enemies: "And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse: and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True. . . His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns, and He had a Name written that no man knew but Himself. And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood, and His Name is called The Word of God. . . and He trod the winepress of God’s fierce anger".
Jehovah of the Old Testament "hated Esau (Edom), against whom He has indignation forever" (Malachi 1:2-4). If Jesus will destroy Edom when He returns, then Edom is present today, and obviously evil, anti-Christian, and anti-Semitic.
The Edomite, Antipater, became the Procurator of Judea in 47BC. Ten years later his son Herod actually became "king of the Jews," initiating the Edomite dynasty which ruled Palestine under Roman authority for over a hundred years. The Edomite assimilation opened the way for the virtual takeover along the lines predicted by Ezekiel and stimulus for an influx of population from the arid country of Edom into the more hospitable environment of Judea, an influx obviously encouraged for political reasons by the ruling Herodian dynasty. Edomites would have been appointed to the most influential positions, in order to extend and consolidate Edomite authority over the land and its people. Herod became notorious for his massacre of infant boys two years old and undger," a supernaturally inspired attempt on the life of Christ (Matthew 2:16). Herod's son Herod Antipas, continuing the work, and was responsible for the gruesome murder of John the Baptist (Matthew 14:6-12).
Christ demonstrated a very real antipathy towards the people called Jews, in Bibles published after about 1776, but who would be more accurately described as Judeans, or residents of the Edomite-dominated territory of Judea. Jesus said to the Jews "You do not believe because you are not of My sheep" (John 10:24-27). "I was only sent to the lost sheep of the House of Israel" (Matthew 15:24). In fact, Christ referred to "those Jews (or residents of Judea regardless of religion, race or color) who believed on him," as "of their father the devil" for although they were children of Abraham, they were not children of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and heirs of the blessing of Abraham, nor did they have the faith of Abraham, and were in all probability descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Esau (John 8: 31,44). In contrast, Jesus instructed His disciples - who were from Galilee of the Gentiles, not Judea (Acts 1:11; 2:7) - to pray to "those who say they are Jews and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan".
The Jews shouted "Crucify Him!" (John 19:15); "His blood be on us and on our children" (Matthew 27:25). In an appropriate turn about, when Jesus returns, their blood will stain His own garments. The spiritual leaders of the Jews were the Pharisees, who not surprisingly were associated with the (Edomite) Herodians (Matthew 22:15-16; Mark 3:6; 12:13). Jesus repeatedly condemned the Pharisees as "hypocrites" (Matthew 15:7; 22:18; 23:13,15,23,25,27-27). He also called them "serpents, the offspring of vipers" (Matthew 3:7; 12:34; 23:33).
"Jesus spoke to the crowds only in parables" (Matthew 13:10-17). Why was this? Many nominal churches and Sunday schools teach that Jesus used parables to make His teachings clearer. But all four Gospels say the opposite. When Jesus was asked why He spoke to them in parables, He replied "Because it is given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given" (Matthew 13:10-11; Mark 4:11-12; Luke 8:9-10; John 12:37-44). Brother Branham simply said, Jesus spoke in parables to thin down the crowds.
Jesus told the Judeans and Pharisees that followed him that if they would believe in Him they would be saved. This caused many of them to challenge him as being a blasphemer and a fraud. This tension remained all the way to the Pharisee and Judean elite to demand the death of Jesus. The religious and political leaders had Jesus put to death and in so doing broke any claim Jesus had to Israel as citizen, a religious follower, or claim of his entire family. For this reason his mother was taken care of by the Apostle John until her death. His other family members joined the Apostles in their work.
Jesus was crucified outside the walls of Jerusalem as sign by the political and religious leaders of Israel that Jesus was completely removed from the nation and faith of Israel. Jesus knew this was the will also of The Father. Jesus through His blood and resurrection completely nullified Israel's claim to The Father as a nation, a people, a faith, and all inheritance of Israel was taken from Israel political and physical and given to the spiritual Israel, the entire body of believers in Christ.
This is the reason Jesus told the followers of the Pharisees and Herod that they were to find their homes and their inheritance as Israel to be desolate and that they were spawn of their father, Satan.
So let us go a bit deeper.

The word “Jew” did not come into existence until the year 1775. Its modern connotation points to someone who follows and adheres to a faith similar to that of the Pharisees of Judah, but is not of the tribe and stock of Judah. In other words, Jews are people from nations other than the 12 Hebrew tribes who practice a religion known as Judaism/Pharisaism, the doctrine of the Pharisees.
It is much like those who believe in Christ and are called Christians, in honor of the One whom they follow, and their religion is known as Christianity, the doctrine of Christ. If one were to say that all Christians are Judahites because Christ was of the tribe of Judah, it would be a fallacy. In much the same way, Jews are not Judahites.
In fact, the religion that is known as Judaism is actually Pharisaism. Judaism – as it pertains to Pharisaism – is a misnomer since it is neither the doctrine of Judah nor the doctrine that Christ practiced.
It is the doctrine of the Pharisees of old, an evil doctrine they brought back from their Babylonian captivity. It does not follow the truth of the Bible, neither of the Old Testament nor of the New. Its central tenets are found in a book called the Talmud, a book full of worldly traditions, lies, and superstitions.
“The Babylonian Talmud is based on the mystical religious practices of the Babylonians which were assimilated by the Judahite Rabbis during their Babylonian captivity around 600 B.C. The Rabbis then used these occult traditions in place of the word of God,” wrote Edward Hendrie in Solving the Mystery of Babylon the Great.
And that is why Jesus was constantly rebuking the Pharisees:
“You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” John 8:44
“You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to human traditions.” Mark 7:8
“For you have taken away the key to knowledge.” Luke 11:52
“You serpents, you brood of vipers, how will you escape the sentence of hell?” Matthew 23:33
WHAT IS THE WORD IN THE NON-TRANSLATED BIBLE?
In both the Old Testament Hebrew and the New Testament Greek, the word to be translated is always meant to be Judah or Judahite(s), of the physical tribe and stock of Judah. And Jews today are not of the tribe of Judah.
Hebrew Words in the Old Testament Bible: 1) Yehuwdah: Jehudah or Judah 2) Yehuwdiy: Jehudite or Judahite.

“The best known 18th century editions of the New Testament in English are the Rheims (Douai) Edition and the King James Authorized Edition. The Rheims (Douai) translation of the New Testament into English was first printed in 1582 but the word ‘Jew’ did not appear in it.
“The King James Authorized translation of the New Testament into English was begun in 1604 and first published in 1611. The word ‘Jew’ did not appear in it either. The word ‘Jew’ appeared in both these well known editions in their 18th century revised versions for the first times. The King James revision in 1803 and the Douai-Rheims in the 1820 revision.
“When the word ‘Jew’ was first introduced into the English language in the 18th century its one and only implication, inference and innuendo was ‘Judean’. However, during the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries a well-organized and well-financed international ‘pressure group’ created a so-called ‘secondary meaning’ for the word ‘Jew’ among the English-speaking peoples of the world. This so-called ‘secondary meaning’ for the word ‘Jew’ bears no relation whatsoever to the 18th century original connotation of the word ‘Jew’. It is a misrepresentation.

The forced evolution of the word “Jew” is similar to the evolution that befell the word “gay”. Gay=Merry became Gay=Homosexual. Try telling someone who’s happy (and who’s not a homosexual) that you’re glad he’s so “gay” and see what happens.
Another example is when many Christians today interact with a Jew they just met, their immediate reaction is to say, “Oh, Jesus was a Jew, too.” What they’re unwittingly saying is, “Oh, Jesus was a Pharisee, too.”
Oh, the blasphemy!
A word is what it is according to the meaning of its time. The word “Jew” today is so entrenched in describing one who follows Pharisaism (or Judaism) that it’s been completely emptied of its original meaning. Hence it no longer describes a Judahite or Judean.
That is why it needs to be struck from the translated bible.

Prior to 1775, when the modern English language was still in its infancy, IEWE was used to translate these words. Unlike the word Jew it was pronounced Yee-hoo-wee, stretching its best to imitate the original Hebrew phonetic of Ye-hu-wdiy.
According to Jewish-born Historian Benjamin H. Freedman, author of Facts Are Facts:
“The best known 18th century editions of the New Testament in English are the Rheims (Douai) Edition and the King James Authorized Edition. The Rheims (Douai) translation of the New Testament into English was first printed in 1582 but the word ‘Jew’ did not appear in it.
“The King James Authorized translation of the New Testament into English was begun in 1604 and first published in 1611. The word ‘Jew’ did not appear in it either. The word ‘Jew’ appeared in both these well known editions in their 18th century revised versions for the first times. The King James revision in 1803 and the Douai-Rheims in the 1820 revision.
“When the word ‘Jew’ was first introduced into the English language in the 18th century its one and only implication, inference and innuendo was ‘Judean’. However, during the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries a well-organized and well-financed international ‘pressure group’ created a so-called ‘secondary meaning’ for the word ‘Jew’ among the English-speaking peoples of the world. This so-called ‘secondary meaning’ for the word ‘Jew’ bears no relation whatsoever to the 18th century original connotation of the word ‘Jew’. It is a misrepresentation.
“The present generally accepted secondary meaning of the word ‘Jew’ is fundamentally responsible for the confusion in the minds of Christians regarding elementary tenets of the Christian faith. It is likewise responsible today to a very great extent for the dilution of the devotion of countless Christians for their Christian faith.
“Christians today are becoming more and more alerted day by day why the so-called or self-styled ‘Jews’ throughout the world for three centuries have spent uncounted sums of money to manufacture the fiction that the ‘Judeans’ in the time of Jesus were ‘Jews’ rather than ‘Judeans’, and that ‘Jesus was a Jew’.” See How the Ashkenazi Jews conquered the West
The forced evolution of the word “Jew” is similar to the evolution that befell the word “gay”. Gay=Merry became Gay=Homosexual. Try telling someone who’s happy (and who’s not a homosexual) that you’re glad he’s so “gay” and see what happens.
Another example is when many Christians today interact with a Jew they just met, their immediate reaction is to say, “Oh, Jesus was a Jew, too.” What they’re unwittingly saying is, “Oh, Jesus was a Pharisee, too.”
Oh, the blasphemy!
A word is what it is according to the meaning of its time. The word “Jew” today is so entrenched in describing one who follows Pharisaism (or Judaism) that it’s been completely emptied of its original meaning. Hence it no longer describes a Judahite or Judean.
That is why it needs to be struck from the translated bible.
“God is not the author of confusion…” 1 Corinthians 14:33
OLD TESTAMENT PROSELYTIZERS
Of the 12 Hebrew tribes Judah was the most faithful and the most active in making converts, especially after they teamed up with the Levites. Their converts became known as the ones who prayed to Jehovah, the God of Abraham.
“For the Levites left their suburbs and their possession, and came to Judah and Jerusalem: for Jeroboam and his sons had cast them off from executing the priest’s office unto the LORD.” 2 Chronicles 11:14
The other 10 tribes, collectively known as Israel, separated from Judah and always did evil in God’s eyes.
“Ephraim compasseth me about with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit: but Judah yet ruleth with God, and is faithful with the saints.” Hosea 11:12
So while Judah was helping the priests in the implementation of their office, Israel was basking in evil. Thus Judah became the one that carried the torch of God’s light unto the nations. A process that would culminate with the advent of Jesus the Christ and His church assembly. Because, just like the Christian Church, the Judahite Hebrew nation was a proselytizing nation that wanted people all over the world to know and pray to the true God of the Universe; even though, at one point, the conversion process had become totally corrupted because of the pharisaic teachings. Let’s hear Jesus:
“Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.” Matthew 23:15
The proselytizers of Judah scattered all over the world, including such places as Ephesus and Damascus, as mentioned by the Apostle Paul in the Book of Acts. Those who converted didn’t miraculously become Judahites and Hebrews. How could anyone? The proselytes only professed to worship the God of Abraham and to adhere to the various rules of the faith. They maintained their own cultures and identities, much like all the nations that converted to Christianity.
Accordingly, even the prophet Obadiah himself was a convert. He was an Edomite, not a Hebrew. Now Edom (or Esau) was the brother of Jacob (or Israel). So why did God pick an Edomite preacher and not a Hebrew to go to the Edomites? Because God knows very well that a prophet is never accepted in his own home. Ask Jesus. And because God wanted Edom to pay for what he had done to his brother Jacob, He called on an Edomite prophet to warn them, knowing the homegrown prophet would be rejected. Otherwise, he would have sent an Israelite, like he did with Jonah the Hebrew in Nineveh (Modern Iraq), where they all repented (and converted and became known later on as Karaites or Karaite Jews) to Jonah’s chagrin. As expected, the Edomites did not repent and suffered the consequences. They were totally wiped out.
“Esau I have hated, and I have turned his hill country into a wasteland and left his inheritance to the desert jackals.” Malachi 1:3
God did the same thing to the Hebrews. He sent them one of their own, Jesus, so He could get revenge for all the prophets they had killed, Jesus included. A revenge that took place in AD 70 when God dispatched the Roman army to destroy the Hebrew Nation, Jerusalem, and the Temple.
That revenge is known as the Apocalypse, the Tribulation, the Armageddon, the Desolation, and the End of the Age of the Hebrews, as prophesied by Christ in the Gospels and by John in the entire book of Revelation, and as recorded by historian Flavius Josephus in The Wars of the Judahites. A revenge that wiped out the entire Hebrew race, except for those who converted to Christianity and fled beforehand.
“Jesus turned and said to them, ‘Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me; weep for yourselves and for your children.'” Luke 23:28
“But he responded, ‘Do you see all these buildings? I tell you the truth, they will be completely demolished. Not one stone will be left on top of another!'” Matthew 24: 2
“But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then recognize that her desolation is near. Then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains, and those who are in the midst of the city must leave, and those who are in the country must not enter the city.” Luke 21: 20,21
“Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.” Matthew 24:34
“And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Mattthew 28:20
“And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which mystically is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified.” Rev 11:8
That is why the Hebrew Tribes are no longer around. They can’t and won’t be “found” either, because they’re not lost, they’re dead – their land inheritance buried with them.
“The LORD was very angry with Israel, and removed them out of his sight… And the LORD rejected all the seed of Israel, and afflicted them, and delivered them into the hand of spoilers, until he had cast them out of his sight.” 2 Kings 17:18,20
“And I will silence in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, for the land shall become a waste.” Jeremiah 7:34
“Behold, your house is being left to you desolate!” Matthew 23:38
However, the Christian Hebrews who escaped those infernal LAST DAYS of the Old Covenant did not have the mark of the beast and embodied “all Israel shall be saved”‘ of Romans 11:26. Their symbolic number in Revelation is 144,000 (12 tribes squared/Father & Son x 1000/many or 12² x 1000). Those with the mark of the beast were annihilated.
In other words, there are NO LOST TRIBES of Israel roaming about. They’re all dead. Besides, if they’re lost, why don’t they pick up a cell phone and call someone. After all, this is the 21st century.
Today, those who are known as Jews are in fact the non-Semitic and non-Israelite Ashkenazim, Sephardim, and Samaritans, who in later times joined small numbers of other races that converted to Judaism/Pharisaism: Polish, Russians, Ukrainians, Germans, etc. These latter ones form a minority known as European Jews who, when coupled with the Ashkenazim, constitute a majority against the darker-skinned Samaritan, Sephardic, and African Jews.
None of these different groups can claim to trace their ancestry to Abraham, Jacob, or Judah. In other words, they’re not the chosen Hebrews of the Bible with whom God had the Old Covenant, and therefore cannot claim the land of Palestine as their Abrahamic inheritance. And resurrecting the dead Hebrew tongue after centuries in the dustbin of oblivion, in order to make it modern Israel’s official language, won’t change those facts, much like parking a Subaru in a Lamborghini dealership won’t turn it into a Veneno Roadster.
JESUS AND THE HOUSE OF JUDAH
“The scepter shall not depart from Judah, Nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, Until Shiloh (Messiah) comes, And to him shall be the obedience of the nations.” Genesis 49:10
esus the Messiah was repeatedly called the Son of David who himself was a descendant of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
“He called out, ‘Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!'” Luke 18:38
Now David was also the First King of the tribe of Judah, following the first split from the other tribes.
“And the men of Judah came, and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah.” 2 Samuel 2:4
Since Jesus was born of the lineage of David, people of his time called Him Son of David because they knew that only a son of David could sit on the throne.
“The days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, a King who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land. In his days Judah will be saved and Israel will live in safety. This is the name by which he will be called: The Lord Our Righteous Savior.” Jeremiah 23:5-6
Thus the awaited King was to be a Savior also. And a Savior always brings Salvation. That’s why Jesus said:
“Salvation is of Judah.” John 4:22
But in every bible that verse is translated as “Salvation is of the Jews.” Let’s go to the original Greek word, Ioudaios which literally translated means “Belonging to Judah – Of the tribe of Judah.” However, Jews today do not belong to the tribe of Judah.
And that’s extremely important, because Jesus knew why He said Judah and not Levi or Ephraim or any of the other tribes, not even Jacob or Israel. He was announcing the fulfillment of every Old Testament prophecy concerning Himself, including Micah’s prophecy which was proclaimed some time during 737-696 BC:
“And thou, Bethlehem Ephrata, art a little one among the thousands of Judah: out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be the ruler in Israel: and his going forth is from the beginning, from the days of eternity.” Micah 5:2
Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary in Bethlehem, Judah (and was crucified in Jerusalem, Judah). And only Jesus’s going forth could have been from the beginning, from the days of eternity because He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and was Emmanuel, God with us (God made flesh).
“Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is God with us.” Matthew 1:23
Furthermore, the Judahites kept God’s covenant with Moses by slaughtering and eating a lamb for Passover.
It has been completely hollowed out of its “Judean” or “Judahite” meaning, because the Rabbinists who hijacked it are not of the tribe of Judah. The Ashkenazi Jews are of Khazarian bloodline, not Hebraic. All it does is create confusion in the Christian mind, which is exactly what the demonic forces want in order to unseat Christians as the new Chosen People – chosen to love and to do good – and to calumniate Christ as a Pharisee.“God is not the author of confusion…” 1 Corinthians 14:33
No matter what these principalities of hell do, Jesus remains who He is and who He always was, a true Judahite, the awaited King and Messiah, the Salvation that was to come from Judah.
However, we Christians must do our part and remove the word “Jew” from the translated bible and replace it with Judahite. That way all of us may know that Jesus was NOT a Jew.
Jesus did it with his disciples. The lamb was killed and eaten in a private home. The sacrifice of the Passover Lamb in the Hebrew home was God’s very contract with each individual ancient Hebrew, and that’s why Jesus repeated it with his disciples in order to introduce the New Covenant.
“Tell the whole community of Israel that on the tenth day of this month each man is to take a lamb for his family, one for each household.” Exodus 12:3
Jews today don’t kill a lamb for Passover in their homes to keep the old contract alive, and most of them follow the Talmud, a man-inspired book full of Babylonian superstitions. Therefore, such practices on their part demonstrate how distinct their faith is compared to the faith Jesus practiced.
CONCLUSION
The word “Jew” as we understand it today, again as we understand it today, is NOT in the bible.
We know that Saul was the first king of Israel and that John was the first man called Baptist, but who was the first Jew? Neither Adam, Seth or Noah are called Jew. Nor were Abraham, Isaac or Jacob. Moses was not called a Jew and neither were Saul, David or Solomon called Jew. The first time Jews are mentioned in the Bible, is in II Kings 16:6 (and then only in translations revised in the eighteenth century) where we find Israel was at war with the Jews and drave the Jews from Elath. Isn't it interesting that we can read over five hundred pages of the Bible before we find a Jew anywhere, yet those who call themselves Jew today claim the first five books of the bible and call it their Torah. Do you not find it rather strange that those who claim to have written the first five books of the Bible and call themselves Jew, can't find the word Jew written anywhere in the book they call their own bible, and claim to have written? Jesus Christ tells John in Revelation 2:9 "I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews and are not, but are the SYNAGOGUE OF SATAN". We know that God changed the name of Abram to Abraham in Genesis 17:5, and that He changed the name of Jacob to Israel in Genesis 32:28, but nowhere in the Bible do we find where God changed the name of Israel to Jew! There is therefore no authority by which those who say they are Jews can claim to be Israel!
By the time of Jesus the word Edom or Edomite had been translated by Greek and Latin into Ioudaios and Iudaeus meaning a Judean or person living in Judea. The original King James version of the Bible, 1611, translated Idumaean-Judean into Iewes. It wasn't until the revised editions of the King James Bible in 1803, that the word Jew appeared. The word Jew does not mean Israel or Israelite!
Roman Catholics would do well to note that the original Douay-Rheims did not contain “Jew” either. It was not until revision in 1820 that “Jew” appeared in the Douay-Rheims.
We must conclude therefore that the first "Jews" were Canaanite-Edomite-Hittite from the Khazarian region of Eur-Asia. It is certain, according to the Bible, Ashkenazi and Sephardic Jews are not Israel.
